Warwickshire Community Garden

The volunteers who care for this local garden want to move away from the work of annual bulb and bedding planting that has been a staple of many of our public spaces for years. The volunteers love the idea of a sensory garden but need it to be low maintenance and delivered on a tight budget.

The proposed design is simple, allowing the existing key garden features to shine and beautiful planting to take centre stage. An existing pathway is widened to allow the public to stroll through the space and to allow wheelchair users access. Wide new planting beds are introduced, filled with a mixture of shrubs, perennials and grasses to bring colour, movement and scent to the space.
